No matter what part of the globe you are from, every woman has a bit of a vain streak loves to look her best. I've compiled a couple of beauty tips from around the world to help
Oh! A big thanks to the GORGEOUS Miss Universe contestants! They are just so beautiful it should be illegal!
Enjoy!
France

What else Can Can a French girl do?
- Soak your nails in warm water with lemon to eliminate the yellowish stain from nail polish
- Red is the go to shade for Parisian ladies, so VAMP it up! Red lips, nails, shoes, bags, anything!
Singapore

Those fish scales make the dress come together swimmingly
- Due to the high humidity, Singaporean women coat the ends of their hair in coconut oil before bed to reduce frizz
- To make their gorgeous skin glow, Singaporean women create an avocado and papaya face mask- slather it on and leave for 15 mins. The acids in the papaya will exfoliate and the oils in the avocado nourish dry skin
United Kingdom

snore
- Due to the high levels of lime in the water (a mineral that makes the hair brittle), UK women don't wash their hair more than three times a week, so they refresh their hair with dry shampoo or baby powder.
CLOG GIRL CLOG!
- Due to the freezing temperatures, most Swedes have a dry sauna in their homes to stay warm and speed up circulation, which makes your complexion look its best.
Philippines

This woman is so pretty it makes me ill *evil eyes*
- Want to make your hair super glossy? Take an aloe leaf out of the Philippine's book and break an aloe leaf in half and smooth it over your tresses. Rinse and repeat if necessary
- To smooth rough skin, combine ginger and lime together and smooth over dry skin
WATCH OUT! She's got a look that kills!
- To prevent damage from the harsh sun and boost shine in your hair, do as the Romans do and whip up your own egg white hair mask: Whip two eggs into a frothy mousse and apply it to wet hair for 10 minutes, then shampoo and rinse with warm water
Why YES! A peacock IS perching serenely on my hand!
- Want gorgeous naturally smooth, radiant skin that the South Americans flaunt? Combine equal parts orange juice and water and swab the mixture across your face with a cotton ball. Leave for a few minutes then rinse. This will reduce pore size and cancel pigmentation
It is tradition in Romania to wear a dried Pelican on your dress
- An Eastern European trick for pretty nails: Make a soak of warm olive oil and a few drops of vitamin A oil to moisturize nails and make them less prone to splitting or peeling (a result of dryness).
India
SO PRETTY!
- For centuries, Indian women have lined their eyes with kohl made from a blend of ashes mixed with an oil such as almond butter. The result is a gleaming gunmetal hue that makes eyes pop.
Nothing says "Miss Universe" more than giant ear feathers
- To ward off premature skin ageing, Chinese women cleanse their faces with antioxident rich rice water. Soak Chinese rice in bottled water for 20 minutes, strain the water into a bowl, dampen a cloth with the rice water and apply to the face for 10 minutes.

No words. Amazing.
- To get glowing body skin, Japanese women take a sake bath: Add three to four six-ounce glasses of any kind of sake to your bath water. Kojic acid in the sake exfoliates and helps lighten age spots and other discoloration
Mexico

Your arguement is invalid because I have a leopard on my head.
- Mexican women don't need lash curlers, all they need are common everyday spoons to curl their lashes! In one hand, hold the spoon horizontally so it's cupping your lid. The edge should touch the roots of your upper lash line. Using the thumb of the same hand, gently press your eyelashes upward against the back of the spoon. Slowly push the edge up toward the ends of your lashes. Repeat until you've achieved the degree of curl you want, then apply mascara.
Keep it Haute!
