3 Current Favourite Lipsticks for Winter 2012

Here are three of my favourite lipsticks for Winter 2012. All are hydrating and brighten my complexion nicely...

First is Revlon Lip Butter in "Sweet Tart"

Sweet Tart is a medium bright pink with a glossy finish. It's moderatly hydrating, but will accentuate any flakes on the lips (as seen here), so exfoliate well beforehand.

The only downside to these Butters is the wear time- very minimal, so constant reapplication is required. Maybe not the best for those who like a less "high maintenance" lippie.

Second is Lancome's Rouge in Love in 344M:

WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS HOW AMAZING THESE LIPSTICKS ARE! No joke, the Rouge in Love collection from Lancome has one of the best formula's EVER! Hydrating, long lasting, easy to apply... I can honestly not find one bad thing to say about them!

344M is a neutral pink infused with peach. In some lights, it's 100% peach, in others, it's pink. This colour works really well for those with a Peaches 'n' Cream complexion and is perfect for work wear.

Thirdly is YSL (or should I say Saint Laurent Paris) Rouge Volupte in I Don't Know What as it's not on the Package but it's from their recent SS collection

This Rouge Volupte, which shall remain nameless due to having no name on the package, is a blue toned pink with gold micro shimmer.

It's insanely hydrating, easy to apply and is quite sheer- perfect for pairing with a prominent eye. This lipstick is perfect to wear on chilly, windy days as it nourishes whilst looking gorgeous!

So there you have it! Three lovely Winter lipsticks!
