Today marks the 7th month of my pregnancy. That's right, 7 months!
7 months of no champagne! THE SHOCK! THE HORROR!
Here is my bump:
Sucking it in! Yes, here I am 7 months pregnant. This photo was taken the same day as the one below. No it is not hurting the baby to suck in my tummy.
Pushing it out! As you can see, I have stretch marks on my sides :( The thing on my bellu button is a scar from a piercing
I've been very fortunate in the fact that I have not gotten very big. I've put this down to the fact that I don't have time to get big because of:
- Managing the business with growing staff
- Moving and setting up house
- Getting two very energetic puppies
- Looking after Alberto who is basically a baby anyway
- Trying to plan a wedding... and failing
Baby's Favourite Food: Frozen Coke (I literally die for these)
Baby's Favourite Time of Day: 3am
Mummy's Weight Gain: 5kg
Baby's Position: Transverse
Birth Plan
A lot of expectant mothers are bombarded with information about BIRTH PLANS.
Now, I'm a bit of a no fuss, go with the flow kind of woman and anything that invovles "planning" basically makes me want to projectile vomit, but I'm gently enforced to do one,...
So here is my BIRTH PLAN:
- Give birth
- Skin to Skin contact
- Sleep
- Wake
- Have champagne to celebrate
- Eat Hungry Jacks
- Go home
- Sleep
- Have some more champagne
- Go to Cha Cha Char for celebratory dins.
So there's the update! I shall be getting a 3D/4D scan on Monday which I will upload the photos for everyone to see :D
In the meantime,
Keep it Haute,

Very exciting. You're keeping it real. I like it.

The best birth Plan!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you're 7 months preggo already! Time flies doesn't it? Except the last couple of weeks, they're totally dragging for me coz I'm too fat and heavy to do anything comfortably.
ReplyDeleteLOL at your birth plan. So glad you're not the type that has everything planned out to the last detail. Seriously, going with the flow is best. My plan is pretty much to make sure the hubby knows the best way to get me to hospital on time, and to smuggle me in some Nando's chicken for after birth as I can't do hospital food. The rest I'm leaving in the doctors' and midwives' capable hands. PS Have you read this article from Mia Freedman on birth plans? It's HI-larious. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/insider/my-view-of-birth-plans-is-theyre-most-useful-when-you-set-them-on-fire-and-use-them-to-toast-marshmallows/story-e6frewt9-1226397542515
Hungry Jacks, that is a damn good plan almost-mama! It is so exciting to see you with a bump :D SO cute!
ReplyDeleteI bet everyone is shooting daggers from their eyes seeing you only gained 5kgs! Wish I can when I'm preggers!
